BIOGRAPHY

Come on board with Amanova, sailor on smoothy oceans...

With the support of numerous people on the participative site Ulule, Amanova has released her first EP named "On a smoothy way”, which contains 6 songs.

This young artist, a native of France, realizes a first opus with her colleague and arranger Philippe Gatto. This collaboration allowed the creation of these songs, for which Amanova wrote the composition and the text, except for the French title of the album, written by the author David Fourey.

We find talented guests such as jazz saxophonist Dominique Gatto, David Doré, guitarist from the Reunion island, Eric Goubert and Patrice Lerech, clarinettist and trumpeter.

A whole history of smooth-jazz, swing and sweetness …

Friendly lyrics or critical ones, intimate or challenging, carried by a sandy and gravelly voice. A variety of influences to propel us across a vast musical expanse. Cruise with Amanova on an ocean tinged with jazz and swing, let the sweetness of its waters catch you.

"The starkly titled 'Red' rides a Latin vibe while the most complex tune is 'When I'm Dreaming Of New Orleans' – sung partly in French, with a real flavour of the Crescent City Jazz scene" Soul and Jazz and Funk Liverpool
